Day 28 – AL BA’ITH

Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!

For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead.”

Psalms 30: 3-5 & 11- 12 “You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.  Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

John 11:21-26 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus (Al Masih Isa), “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.  But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” Jesus(Al Masih Isa),  said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus (Al Masih Isa), said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;  and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

John 5:21-29 “For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the (spiritual) Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.  Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the (spiritual) Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.  Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man (a title for Al Masih Isa). “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice  and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.”

Revelation 21: 2-4 “I also saw the holy city—the New Jerusalem—coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I also heard a loud voice from the throne, saying,

“Behold, the dwelling of God is among men,

and He shall tabernacle among them.

They shall be His people,

and God Himself shall be among them

and be their God.

He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes,

and death shall be no more.

Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer,

for the former things have passed away.”

Al An’am 6:73 “He is the One who created the heavens and the earth with purpose. On the day He says “Be”, it (the Resurrection) will come to be. His word is the truth, and His is the kingdom on the day the Horn shall be blown. He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen. He is the Wise, the All-Aware.”

Hajj 22:7 And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.
